Homework Use the formula to find the surface area of the rectangular prisms. Complete the sheet that was started in class. Models on the front with the dimensions labeled & word problems on the backside. Reminder: I am an Architect & a Designer project due this Friday, April 11, 2014. I have seen lots of great floor plans. Students should be almost done with the chart that is on the backside of the project checklist.

12/17/13 Homework: Dividing with decimals. Complete the sheet we started in class for practice using the examples & notes. Complete at least one of the word problems on the back. More practice, at least 6 of the division problems with decimals. Reminder: Benchmark #2 Thursday December 19. If you can bring any items in for donation for our snack shop on Friday,please send those in by Wednesday.

12/11/13 Homework 12 problems adding & subtracting decimals 12/12/13 Homework Multiplying with decimals Snack Shop Items: if you have any items that you can donate for making the trail mix next week please send those in at the first of the week. Items we would like to use for creating our trail mix are listed below. -raisins or other small dried fruit -m&m's or other candy with a shell -goldfish -cereal such as Cherrios or Fruit Loops -small pretzels -mini marshmellows no peanuts or other nuts please. 12/5/13 Homework: Multiplying & Dividing fractions review, 6 questions. Next week we will be starting our "Dining Out" unit with decimals & fractions. On Friday students will be bringing home progress reports for parent/guardian signatures to be returned for 10 points on Monday.

9/30/2013 Today students received their homework for the entire week. Ten questions a night on various practice & review math concepts including comparing negative integers, place value, simplifying fractions, identifying benchmarks using the benchmarks(close to 0, 1/2, 1), rounding, multiplication, division, & word problems. On Friday students will have a 10 question homework/review quiz along with the weekly content quiz, which will be on representing and comparing fractions, decimals, & percents. Progress reports went home with students today. Parents/guardians are asked to look over the report sign the bottom and return it with your student tomorrow for 10 points.
